Dr. Gajendra Singh Yadav (Advocate, Supreme Court of India and High Court, Allahabad) was born on 01 July 1990 in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He is an advocate of Criminal Law and Human Rights laws in the Allahabad High Court. His research and writing on subjects related to law and human rights have established him as a serious thinker and active scholar in this field. After his preliminary education, he obtained a B.Sc. (P.C.M.) degree. Thereafter, he obtained his LL.B. (Hons) from Kashi Hindu University (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and his LL.M. from Allahabad University, Prayagraj, which is known as the Oxford of the East. From this very university, he completed his research work on a subject related to the human rights of the accused in the Indian criminal justice system and obtained a Ph.D. degree in law.

In the academic field, more than ten of his research articles on topics such as the recognition of states in international law, reservation policy in the Constitution Articles 15 (4) and 16 (4), the importance of the Preamble of the Constitution and judicial perspective, rights of the accused in the Constitution, rights of the accused in substantive law, rights of the female accused, secularism and uniform civil code, fake encounters and custodial death, environment and water pollution, have been published in national and international journals. Furthermore, more than thirty research papers have been presented by him in national and international seminars. The book 'Nyay Mangta Mahakumbh' (Human Rights Struggle in Mahakumbh 2025) has been published, and his chapter titled 'Constitutional and Legal Protection to the Accused in the Perspective of Human Rights' has been published in a book named 'Various Dimensions of Human Rights'. Dr. Gajendra's work reflects a deep commitment to justice, sensitivity, and social responsibility in the field of law and human rights.
